The Gambia — where I See You All's first international branch stands.

Our work now crosses an ocean. This page tells our branch story the way we tell it — clearly labeled as our own account — and points you to a sourced, dated public guide to eye care in The Gambia.

The first branch beyond the United States.

Org-stated I See You All — a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit — states that it has established its first international branch in The Gambia.

Org-stated The organization's own account is that the branch has provided multiple eye surgeries. That account is I See You All's story of its own work. No independent third-party count exists in our research, so we label it as ours and leave the number to the verified record below rather than rounding it up.

We think that is the honest way to build a page: our story stays ours, labeled as such — and the facts we did not generate carry their sources and a verification date.

Where a claim is ours, it says so. Where a claim comes from outside research, it carries a source link and a verified date.

Key figures — placeholders pending verification

We publish branch numbers only when they have been verified by the founder. Until then, these stay open — nothing here is filled in to look complete.

A documented need, a working system.

The Gambia has a genuine, documented, tiered national eye-care system: community-level primary eye care, regional secondary eye units and vision centres, and the Sheikh Zayed Regional Eye Care Centre as the tertiary referral hospital. The need inside that system is large, measured — and largely treatable.

The surveyed figures above come from the 2019 Gambia National Eye Health Survey — 9,188 adults aged 35 and over examined — and related published research. They are measured, not modelled, and we keep them that way on every page.

The Eyecare Resources Center.

We built a plain-language public guide to eye care in The Gambia: where to get care — by level — how the referral pathway works, costs and coverage, which programs are active, common eye conditions, and what to do in an urgent situation. Health information, not medical advice.
